Honors Student Council
The Honors Student Council (HSC) is the student organization of the Honors College that has the charge of providing students an additional sense of connection and community within the college. In hopes of achieving this, the HSC puts on multiple social events throughout the year, sponsors intramural sports teams and assists at Honors College functions such as the Department Honors Poster Session and Medallion Ceremony. Two major Honors Student Council events are the Honors Showcase during Fall semester and Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction during Spring Semester. Proceeds from both events are donated to charity.
In addition to those major events the Honors Student Council holds movie nights and provides opportunities for participation in community service. The Honors Student Council is are always looking for new and innovative ideas to get students involved!
